Sometime, people use high end software to play android games on PC. Many people use more than one high-end software such as Android Studio, VirtualBox, VMware, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc. If your computer is using 100% CPU, here is what you can do to fix the problem. If it if using a considerable amount of resource, there is a very high chance of getting various problems on your computer because of high CPU stress. Those problems started today when I started my PC, so these changes are the only causes I could imagine, otherwise I did not change anything on my system since yesterday (when verything still ran smoothly).Įdit: running a scan with avast now, just to make sure.Even if you are running multiple high-end apps, your computer should not use 100% CPU resources.

I have also noticed that stopping an active steam download now takes ages and sometimes crashes steam. I have not tried downloading with firefox or iexplorer yet, but I guess it'll give the same results. I have noticed this is not a problem unique to steam though.

The taskmanager claims my processes use 5 to 10% CPU altogether, but the CPU infopanel shows that one CPU is clogged and the others act erratic to compensate. I have the same problem, Steam takes up 2% CPU normally but starting a dl makes it rise to 50% and lags my system to the point where I cannot even listen to music in the background.
